Kem Barfield

Won over by ETC founder Camilla Ross’ infectious enthusiasm for performing arts and vivid descriptions of her work in Harriet Tubman's Dream, Kem Barfield was drawn to the theater and its many offerings. As Kem explained, “I chose to volunteer because ETC enhances Southeast Connecticut’s culture through the performing arts, and provides opportunities for expression of talent and dedication to art that aren’t otherwise available to young performers.”

Kem is ETC’s web administrator, but his passion is to help board members expand their horizons and achieve their goals. He enjoys helping others discover how the right technology can enhance and improve their lives, as well as the experiences of ETC’s audiences, students and artists.

In his capacity as director of educational technology at Three Rivers Community College, Kem is also administrator for its distance learning program, the college’s webmaster, the faculty technology trainer and the accreditation liaison.
