Robert "Bob" Ronfeld has experience in pharmaceutical research and development as a department head and consultant, project manager and problem solver, non-profit board supporter, and in community theater production. He has received a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of California at San Francisco.

Bob is a current member and past president of the board of directors of the North Stonington Lions Club. He has also been board member and treasurer for the Lion's Low Vision Center of Eastern Connecticut. He is a past board member of Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut and for over 10 years has served as a builder and volunteer carpenter.

Bob was an employee of Pfizer Inc. in Groton, CT, where he worked on discovery and development drug research. His involvement with local community theater began as a spot light operator with the Pfizer Players and progressed to backstage crew and building theatrical sets and properties.
